On July 22nd, 2022 the project associate Andro Bakica successfully defended his doctoral thesis under the title „Numerical method for the evaluation of the structural response of ship appendices”, under the supervision of Nikola Vladimir, PhD, Associate Professor. The Committee members appointed for thesis evaluation were Professor Hrvoje Jasak, Dr. Šime Malenica, Bureau Veritas, France, and Professor Inwon Lee, Pusan National University, South Korea. Doctoral dissertation defense – Maja Perčić
Project collaborator Maja Perčić successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled „A procedure for improving the energy efficiency and environmental performance of short sea and inland waterway vessels” on July 11th, 2022. The doctoral dissertation mentor is Nikola Vladimir, Ph.D., Associate Professor, while the committee members appointed for dissertation evaluation are Vedran Slapničar, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Goran Krajačić, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Ailong Fan, Ph.D., Associate Professor. They evaluated the doctoral dissertation summa cum laude.
