| Ivana Jovanović was born on August 23, 1994, in Čapljina, and in 2013 she finished grammar school in Metković. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2017 in Zagreb at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, majoring in Engineering Modeling and Computer Simulations. In 2017, she enrolled in graduate studies at the same faculty, also majoring in Engineering Modeling and Computer Simulation, which she completed in 2019. She defended her dissertation on the topic “Numerical modeling of dynamic deformation processes of thin copper sheets”. Since November 2020 she works as a research assistant at the Chair of Marine Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, where she started her Ph.D. studies in the field of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. Her research interest includes autonomous vessels, the safety of marine power systems, ship environmental and economic eligibility, etc. |
