The Chair of Marine Engineering performs courses focused on ships’ energy systems to establish, use, and manage their energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable configurations, as well as a series of courses that form the backbone of the marine engineering program within mechanical engineering studies. The Chair has modern software packages for engineering optimization, acoustic analysis, lifecycle analysis, etc., as well as measurement systems for fuel consumption analysis, analysis of greenhouse gas emissions, etc., the application of which is presented in the teaching process.
The Chair teaches both naval architecture and marine engineering courses.
